Happy World Book Day!
I love this event as it’s an opportunity for kids across the world to celebrate everything that is wonderful about reading and writing!
I’ve had a busy week, teaching my creative writing workshops in schools around the north east. Today, at West End First School in Bedlington, all the pupils and staff were dressed as their favourite book characters! I felt a bit odd not being in a costume, so had to claim I’d come dressed as a children’s book author!
