A BIG thank you to everyone at Sunderland High School for making me feel so welcome at their Junior Speech day. I had a great time, enjoyed a lovely meal and met some wonderful people.
Congratulations to everyone who won prizes, books, trophies and shields; it was amazing to see so many talented children together in one school! I also really enjoyed the performances from the shows the Juniors had staged throughout the year.
My speech seemed to go down well, although I think I may have surprised a few people! With any luck, I’ll be invited back in October to run some drama workshops and open the new library. Can’t wait!

Update: I got a favourable mention in the school’s newsletter – so my speech can’t have been that bad…!
