Congratulations to Russell T Davies and everyone at Doctor Who for a brilliant season finale!  I was on the edge of my seat throughout and even cheered when K9 appeared near the end!

The regeneration cliffhanger from the end of the last episode was cleverly dealt with, as was the ‘killing off’ of Donna.  In a way, she did die – or, at least, the person she had become during her travels with the Doctor did.

I SO wanted Wilf to go with the Doctor on the Tardis but, then, it wouldn’t have been the touching, lonely ending the series needed.  After a crowd of people around the Tardis console, joyfully towing the Earth back home, the episode had to end with the Doctor all alone.

Bring on the Cybermen at Christmas!
