I’m home! Home from a wonderful visit to Scotland for the Edinburgh International Book Festival. This year, the focus was the books I’ve written for specialist publisher, Barrington Stoke – which I promoted with help of my spiffy new banner…
I had a busy first day with a performance at the RBS Imagination Lab in the morning, then a trip out to Muirhouse Library, courtesy of the festival’s outreach programme. I ended the day with dinner and lovely company, thanks to my Barrington Stoke editor and publisher. The view outside the restaurant wasn’t bad, either…
My second day started early as I drove up to Fife for two events – the first at the original Carnegie Hall, where I raised the roof along with 400 screaming kids!
Then a quick trip to Rosyth Library for even more creepy chaos – which you can read about in this piece on the Fife Direct website.
Now it’s back to my desk to dive into the edits for books 3 and 4 in my new series, Project FE. Details coming soon…
